Eventually I've got round to trying the 3rd and final Spartan challenge the Spartan 300. So after doing the 1000 and the 500 the 300 should be easy? Well this is the first one that uses more than just body weight for the exercises so it's a totally different style workout.
The format is the same as the 1000 you can't move on to the next exercise until the first one is finished, it follows a set pattern and like both the 500 and 1000 timer keeps running even during a rest.
But I couldn't care less about the time for this one as when you're lifting/holding 61kg posture is the most important thing not speed. I still took my time just to give you an idea about how long it may take.
Exercise:-
25 x Pull Up
50 x Deadlift -61kg
50 x Press Up
50 x 24 inch Box Jumps
50 x Floor Wipers -holding 61kg
25 x Clean and Press both sides - 16kg
25 x Pull Up
Done!
My time was 43 minutes.
Easiest exercise I found were the box jumps and maybe press ups. Deadlift and pull ups weren't too bad splitting it into smaller sets. The Clean and Press was actually really nice with that weight. Floor wipers were far harder than they initially felt!!! Make sure you've got a spotter for this so when you're doing the Deadlift your posture is correct, they can help with the weight on the floor wipers too.
Enjoy
